Matt Young, CEO
Matt has overseen the construction of various projects in all sectors of the industry including airports, bridges, highways, residential, correctional, and religious facilities, office buildings, hotels, hospitals, manufacturing, and petroleum, as well as power transmission and distribution. He has managed the construction of many “Green” buildings. His experience comprises over 20 years of project management of both international and domestic projects. Over the past 8 years he has managed the installation of over 30 MWs of solar.

Brian Young, Operations Director
Brian has run his own residential construction company for over 30 years. His experience in planning & managing operations for rooftop construction includes roofing installations, roof framing, rooftop solar on churches, warehouses, industrial, residential, and ground mount. His ability to leverage expertise in vendor selection and management, project management and coordination to align day-to-day operations with business goals and client objectives, capitalize on superior communication skills to establish and develop valuable client and vendor relationships, build and spearhead top-performing teams, providing guidance, training and support needed to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of high-quality products and services.

Carl Weidemann, Project Director
With 4 years of solar experience and over 20 years of project management experience, Carl utilizes his Mechanical Engineering education to ensure all our multi-home projects meet timelines and compliance standards. His professional approach allows excellent communication and for strong relationships to develop, ensuring timely achievement of project goals.

David Young, Senior Sales Manager
David Young is one of our key Senior Solar Advisors. With an MBA in marketing, David aids with strategic marketing to meet our customers' needs. In addition, David has sold over 4.5 MW in just 5 years.

Irvin Young, Senior Sales Manager
Over the past 6 years Irvin has helped more than 800 DC residents go solar. Irvin has an extensive understanding of construction having been in the construction industry since 1980. Irvin is active in his church, having volunteered on multiple mission trips including two trips to Uganda to install solar systems.

Mustafa Qadir, Process Manager
With extensive experience in the solar industry, Mustafa is focused on optimizing permitting workflows and coordinating with utilities to accelerate interconnection and project timelines.He is skilled in navigating regulatory requirements, including DC SREC registration and compliance, while aligning internal processes to support scalable, compliant residential and commercial solar installation.

Joy Strainese, Customer Support Specialist
Joy is excited to be part of Revolution Solar as our Customer Service Specialist. With over 10 years of customer service and sales experience she brings a personal approach to customer service and satisfaction. Joy is passionate about her role helping customers while also helping the environment.

Negede Wonimu, Customer Support Specialist
Negede specializes in helping homeowners design customized solar solutions that maximize long-term savings and energy efficiency. With two years of experience in solar service and a degree in Integrated Business and Engineering, he brings a strategic, results-driven approach to every project.

Alex Ticu, Solar Advisor
Alex has been helping residents of the District of Columbia and Maryland go solar since 2015. In that time, he has helped over 900 customers with 8 MW of solar.

Aaron Burbridge, Solar Advisor
Aaron grew up in the construction industry, where he spent more than a decade building, managing, and estimating projects. He holds a degree in Physics from the University of Maryland and brings both technical expertise and hands-on experience to every challenge. Driven by a passion for the future of renewable energy—particularly solar, battery storage, and EV technology—he enjoys tackling complex projects and turning customers' ideas into reality. Beyond his professional pursuits, Aaron plays competitive soccer and tennis in leagues across Maryland and channels his creative side through sports photography.

Brandon Shores, Master Electrician
Brandon Shores is a highly skilled Master Electrician with extensive experience in both residential and commercial electrical systems. He has a strong background in electrical codes, requirements, and safety regulations, and is proficient in reading blueprints and wiring diagrams. Brandon has demonstrated expertise in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems, as well as managing and leading teams of electricians to complete large-scale projects on schedule and within budget. Brandon holds MasterElectrician licenses in multiple states, including Maryland,Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, and NorthCarolina. He is also certified as an electrical inspector by the Maryland Fire Marshall. His education includes Construction Management from Montgomery College in Rockville, MD.

Dave Hall, Principal Engineer
Dave is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering, earning a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, and has over 40 years of experience in civil/structural engineering. He's a licensed professional engineer in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, District of Columbia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, New Mexico, Wyoming, Colorado, Missouri, New Jersey, and Florida. Mr. Hall is also a board-certified structural engineer by the Structural Engineering Certification Board (SECB), a board-certified Diplomate Forensic Engineer by the Council of Engineering Specialty Boards (CESB) through the National Academy of Forensic Engineers, and a fellow and life member in the American Society of Civil Engineers. Dave has been engineering in the solar industry for the past 10 years. He was the engineer responsible for purposing the Schletter beam to span parapet roofs. Dave is also a veteran, having served as a sergeant in the Army National Guard.
